No bot this weekend as das captain not feeling 100% so I spent the day getting the locks chopped and coloured which was well overdue and having a swooper lunch with family et kids.
The shops are full of all things festive...obscene as its only October but it did get me thinking that I need to get a motor on and make some chrinklemouse cakes!
The house smells gorgeous after my marathon bakeathon. I love the smell of Christmas spices, so mixed with some cider brandy in one batch and a new recipe with Tia Maria in the other batch, the warm aroma us just lovely.
Last one is in the oven now so have made up some more muddled berry jam with a large batch of blackberries that I have left over and then that it me done for the day.
It's dark and grey outside so am going to hunker down with a good book and just chill out for the rest of the day.
