Hubble Bubble....

Slight panic this morning as I am on an apple chutney mission couldn't find that elusive box of jars!

Needless to say they were eventually found but not in the amount I expected so its going to a tight squeeze this am when it comes to bottling up time!

Dead easy recipe from this book which is one of my trusted favourites that has pride of place alongside the WI and Joanna Farrow book of wonders. You can't go wrong with any of these across all of the seasons.

Looking forward to the sloes coming into season as the cupboard is definately bare on that front!

Das captain has gone down to das bot, sprucing her up and on a de-clutter in preparation for her winter berth.

We move her found in a few weeks time, it's been a couple of years since we have kept her in all year round so should be fun.

We r in the middle of the marina well protected, so should minimise the chill as winter creeps in.

Not long now til our hols...Alex Thompson sets off from Haslar this weekend on his way to for the start of the Vendee....it's going to be fabulous.

We,ve been so lucky in Plymouth over the years to see the build up to races such as the Transat and last year the wicked Americas Cup series.

This one of the biggest racing events in the sailing calendar is going to be amazing and we'll be there!
