This is the latest cast off from das captain which I started yesterday as the rain came down and I finished this morning after a disturbed night from all the turbulence outside!
An amazing story about Les Powles who in the course of three successful circumnavigations he got lost in the Atlantic, made landfall on the wrong continent, lost friends @ sea, survived week long storms and on his final voyage in his late seventies was given up for dead only to arrive back in Lymington a few months later looking like a skeleton.
Yep it has kept me hooked and totally inspired, what an incredible man.
