Unexpected & Positive Consequences

Chrinklemouse has come and gone, life has been a mad work blur in January, worked hard as have all of us. Now it's time to play, and kick back and relax.

Who would have thought it.....25 days in the sun with my Ma. At almost 45 years of age for me, the matriarch and eldest one are going on our hols together.

It is an unforeseen and most positive consequence....feel very lucky and am looking forward to it very much. Quality time and together.

It's probably the last time my Ma will go back to Malaysia, a place I loved before I got married after being introduced to this magical place by my parents and the place I got married. I will go back but on a promise to go further afield next year to Oz but may sneak in a quick stopover if I can.

Langsheepi a very special place for me over the last 13 years, looking forward to spending special time with my Ma because we can and have chosen too, plus friends. Looking forward to the sun on my bones and just kicking back and relaxing... matriarch and the eldest on tour...AMAZING!

2014 & Some New Memories

I can't believe how quickly this year has gone, particularly the last six months.

My suspended animation in life began to end when my nisi was declared in February and finally my divorce in April. Had a magical birthday at Lime Cottage in February and then a week in Malaga in March with good friends which was a great support as life as a married person came to an end.

As sad as it was, it enabled me to finally begin to plan a future something I had been unable to do and then some Lady Luck began to shine, two house viewings only and in record time on the 4th July I moved into my new house.... aka No 21.

The year leading up to it may have been hideous but was made special by my nearest and dearest family and friends who saw me through it in the most magical of ways. I moved in over two days thanks to a mega team effort and made a house the most gorgeous home now where the summer, autumn and almost most of winter have gone by in a whirl. Some magical magical new memories though....summer hols, gardening....yes gardening....friends staying...bbq's galore and much much more.

Work has been an absolute whirl but good and I have become a real commuter to Manchester and London over recent months but has been a great opportunity to fly the flag for the most most amazing work we do or the teams do day in day out in improving patient safety here at base camp as well as keeping me occupied.

Home is magical, Chrinklmouse 2014 amazing and whilst I miss the sea more than words than say and das bot, I have been out on the water which has fed the soul despite the gale! There are plans afoot for next year to get out more on the water....swailing.

Life is still not easy, and I won't lament what I can't change but life is good and I feel v v blessed. Here is to 2015 and some great memories to come.
